The boss roster of ReBlade draws on Shanhaijing and Chinese folklore, reimagined as cyber-mechanised enemies. Only two have confirmed English-language names - The Black and Zhang Yu Ge. The rest appear in Chinese-language coverage (IGN China, 游民星空, 17173) with romanisations that are not official, and are marked as such below.
A wraith-like cyber-enhanced cyborg that fights like a cybernetically upgraded grim reaper. Named in IGN's first preview and widely regarded as the standout fight in the game.
The yokai boss encountered in the demo, alternating between humanoid kicks and tentacle slams. Both halves of the pattern are parryable, which makes it the best boss for practising deflect timing.
One of the fierce beasts of the Shanhaijing - tiger face, wings, fire - mechanised into a strongman wearing a steel tiger mask with flaming fists who summons flying swords. Two-phase behaviour has been reported.
Described in the source text as "a yellow sac, six legs, four wings", and in the game as a headless, pot-bellied giant carrying a huge hammer. Phase one is a leaping slam; in phase two it tears off its own cyber head to reveal a four-armed structure and switches to multi-hit string attacks.
Carries a data "soup bowl" that projects a slowing field. The slowdown is the danger - it eats your parry timing, so fight it at range and close only when the field is down.
A two-enemy pair rather than a single boss. One controls electromagnetic pulses, the other lays gravity traps. Splitting your attention between them is the actual challenge.
A coordinated duo AI: Horse Face snipes from range while Cowherd always closes to pressure. Interrupting one enrages the other, so pick a target and commit.
"Soulless husk" enemies found in the demo's Abyss Marrow Factory, implying that migrating consciousness inhabits the burial army.
The demo runs the Abyss Marrow Factory (渊髓工厂) followed by Zhulong City (烛龙城), each ending in a boss. An IGN reporter cleared both on Normal in roughly two hours, and found the second layer's final boss nearly one-shot in phase one. Sources disagree on which boss closes the first layer, so treat the exact ordering as unsettled.
Not everything is an enemy. Pixiu (貔貅), the "Gold-Eater Beast" (吞金兽), is reported as a random NPC who trades HP or resources for high returns rather than a fight. Luo Shen (洛神), the Goddess of the Luo River, appears in Chinese coverage as a figure who "fell into demonic paths"; her role as boss or NPC is not confirmed. No named companion roster has been published for the full game.
